The mission of GREENGUARD Environmental Institute is to improve public health and quality of life through programs that improve indoor air.

GREENGUARD Standards

To garner the certification, Parata RDS underwent rigorous testing by Air Quality Science, an accredited, independent laboratory, and exceeded every standard set forth by GREENGUARD.

The simulation involved placing Parata's unit in a "clean room" chamber where air sampling could be conducted over time to measure emissions before, during and after the unit processed the equivalent of a 1,000-prescription day. Parata RDS came out as "low-emitting" against all air-quality measurements.

AQS Testing Standards
Air Quality Science, the scientific testing partner for GREENGUARD, is ISO 17025 accredited, the highest quality standard for laboratories.

Standard deviation between test results is equal to or less than 5 percent, ensuring a consistent, replicable process.
